Cons of Using Tiles as A Flooring Material

Some of the bad sides to using tiles as flooring material are:

  • It can be slippery: Tiles can be slippery, especially when cleaning it and this poses a danger to the occupants of the space. One can easily slip on a tiled floor, especially when wet.
  • It is heavy: Tiles are usually heavy and proper care has to be taken that the weight of the tile does not offset the structural capacity of the building.
