Maintenance Tips for Natural Stones

Natural stones are very beautiful when used as flooring materials but they come with a lot of responsibility as regards maintenance. To maintain your natural stone and make sure that it serves you for as long as possible, be careful not to let anything spill on the surface as this can cause stains which reduces the appeal. Also, avoid objects that can cause the surface to have scratches and marks. With natural floors, cleaning them regularly with the use of mild detergent (stay away from harsh ones) is advised. Also, professional cleaning at least once a year is recommended to keep the surface of the floor clean and beautiful.
